Hashim leads the Network Talent Initiative, a program to grow and nurture talent in civic tech, and to empower government to adopt tech hiring best practices. Prior to joining Code for America, he spent over 15 years in the private sector leading technical operations management for FedEx Office.

Born in Oakland, CA, Hashim is also a plant-based nutritionist, coach and bodybuilder who enjoys spending time with his wife, children, two shelter pups and cat.
