I am a 2015 Code for America fellow, working with the City of Vallejo and their police department on rebuilding trust with the community using technology. We recently held a workshop with 4 different police departments and had really interesting discussions on how they might rebuild relationships with the community they are tasked to protect and serve. I am especially interested in social, behavioral, and cultural dynamics that create divides between groups of people.
